Greetings! I’m honored to serve as the PTA President here at McCall for the second year. My name is Deanna Minium and I’m thrilled to be part of a community that values education and collaboration. We have so much in store for the students this year! Which is all possible because of membership payments! Please consider paying the membership fee to support the PTA. Anything extra that your student participates in, is most likely paid for, sponsored or organized by the PTA. We use membership dues to cover these extra costs!
With a background in education and a passion for empowering students, parents, and teachers alike, I’ve always been committed to creating positive change. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of fostering a strong partnership between home and
school to provide the best possible experience for our children.
I grew up in Tallahassee, FL and The Woodlands, TX. After finishing graduate school, my husband and I settled in Plano, TX right after we had our first son, who is now 12. We also have an 8-year-old and a 4-year-old. We love living in Plano!
When I’m not immersed in PTA activities, you might find me enjoying quality time with my family, exploring new books, or finding inspiration in Netflix and taking a nap. Together, let’s make this school year an unforgettable one, filled with growth, learning, and lasting connections.
