Plano ISD invites the community to join us for the 39th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, “The Dream is Alive,” on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Robinson Fine Arts Center (1800 Alma Drive, Plano, TX 75075). The guest speaker is LaShon Ross, Deputy City Manager, City of Plano. Ms. Ross has more than 37 years of experience in Human Resources, dedicated to developing people, strengthening organizations and supporting meaningful growth. 

The evening will feature inspiring student performances, self-guided art exhibit tours, recognition of student art and writing contest winners, heartfelt tributes and the presentation of the Dr. Myrtle Hightower Leadership Awards.
